Everything happens always

My fellow classmate Erik came up with a quite smart idea a few days ago:

If we assume that matter and energy are infinite we can conclude that "everything happens always". As the spacetime is infinite all possible events, i.e. everything, should happen in all possible occations, i.e. always.

A rather intriguing theory.
